    What's your motivation?

    For me it's two things. Confidence - I have none when I am the size I am. Health - I found out fairly recently that I am on the borderline of being diabetic, unless I changed my diet and lost weight. I'll worry about everything else once I've lost the weight :)

    When I did LL before, I had loads of people at my work, after it became really noticeable about mid-way through month 2, saying "doesn't sound safe to me" "you must be tired all the time" "you don't want to lose to much" My reply was always, "Well the doctor ok's it, I haven't felt this good...

    It will be a combination of people pleased for you and some that are jealous. Some people want you to remain the way you were, because it was comfortable for them. For those that ask "How much?", just say that you aren't weighing yourself and are just judging by your clothes and how much...

    First Rubbish Weigh In

    Shelley, do not worry for a second. If you are sticking to it then it will just be something like water retention or your body reacting to lack of food etc. About 5 weeks in (last time around) I lost 1/2 pound, and was gutted, the following week I upped water slightly and lost 10lbs ! :cool:

    Evening all, thought I would introduce myself. I'm 30 y/o male, did LL back in 2006 and lost around 8 stone in 4.5 months. Maintained for about 6 months but since then has been nothing short of a disaster, and have put it all back on, plus a bit :sigh: I'm now doing Cambridge, been on it six...
