    Different coloured peppers ?

Green peppers are evil - taste so raw and nasty. Orange and red are lovely though, much sweeter. Can stand green ones cooked, but no way would I eat them raw.

I roast veggies using frylight, re-spray a couple of times during cooking, then sprinkle on balsamic once served. Scrummy

    Smokey Bacon Tomato Pasta

Ooops, didn't think about that. Don't think there's any info on the label, but will check. Didn't think about it as I used actual chipotle flakes which will be free. Suppose you could use normal chilli flakes and a bit of smoked paprika to achieve a similar taste and they would both be free...

    Smokey Bacon Tomato Pasta

Thought about stirring in a bit of 0% yoghurt at the end to make it more creamy, but didn't want to ruin it!! I'm not noted for my cooking skills, so it was great to cook something that OH actually asked if we can have again!!!!

Just for fun (no offence intended)

Oh god, the plane one is so me!!(Just look at my signature thingy!!) I'd love to be able to get my tray down flat for my meal and drink. Only time I've ever been able to do that was when we flew in upper class!!! I bought a pair of size 16 shorts from Debenhams and hung them on the wardrobe door...

    Giving up.

Why don't you try a different group. If your consultant isn't working out for you where it's all going wrong, then she's not up to much. Please don't give up - we all need to stick together, but it sounds like you need some willpower too as you are already admitting to us on here where the...

    Ideas for lunches

what about potato, pasta and tuna salad with mint sauce?? Boil new potatoes and pasta (can do them in the same pan if you want) When cooked, chill in fridge (overnight is fine) then in the morning, flake a tin of tuna into the mix and make up some mint sauce with malt vinegar (check for a syn...

    Quick and Easy?

I find a huge bowl of couscous in the fridge helps. I make it with onions done in frylight, a few chopped apricots (syns, but not many), some chickpeas, chopped orange segments and pomegranate seeds. Once it's made, it keeps for a couple of days, and is quite filling to snack on.

    Summer Salads

I do a salad with about half a pint of frozen peas cooked in microwave for 3 mins, cool in running water then add 2 tbsp jar mint sauce (syn free one) and 2 tbsp malt vinegar to peas, then chill for at least half an hour. Then wash 2 little gem lettuce and place individual leaves on a plate...

    sw lasagne....

Sorry, but lasagne is the one thing I ain't messing with on this diet....I'd rather have a smaller portion of the 'real' thing than try a low syn version. Rant over (but it my most fave thing in the whole foodie world, even more than chocolate ...lol)

    turkey breast steak ideas

I just fry turkey steaks in frylight after coating them in finely chopped chilli, black pepper and lemon zest. If they start to look a bit dry whilst frying, squeeze a bit of lemon juice over too. Really tasty with a green salad and some new potatoes or couscous on EE. Really good quick evening...

    Taste Day Next Week

Jellybaby1 - don't forget that you need to set the jelly in something else then turn it out onto the sponge when set. It took me ages to find a baking tin the right size to fit!!! Hadn't really thought about the fact that I couldn't pour the liquid jelly straight onto the sponge!! I was...
