Recent convert from 'the dark side'

I've just switch from sw to ww today. I love the free fruit and have made a big pan of gorgeous butternut squash soup to keep me going if I start to flag. After being on sw for a few weeks my weight began to plateau and put this down to boredom with choice of free food. I've not felt hungry...

monday morning at home weigh in

I have lost 2lb, not as much as I expected but still a loss. I even spent ten minutes moving the scales around the kitchen to see if that made a difference lol.

    First Week

I can't believe it either, I feel satisfied and have had some lovely meals. I feel like I've been treating myself and not on a punishing eating regime like ww felt earlier this year.

Hiya,im new....thinking of changing from WW to SW, help please :)

Hi, I started the new ww in the new year and found the weighing and the calculating a real pain. I've switched to slimming world and don't know why I didn't change sooner, its fantastic, you'll feel much more satisfied and I feel healthier because I'm cooking everything from scratch and there's...

    Do you feel guilty?

I understand totally, I attempted weightwatchers earlier in the year and went to bed early feeling hungry and that it must be doing me some good, obviously not, a week later I ate like a king and felt much better for it. However, I'm feeling guilty about being full, satisfied and feeling...

Am I right to be peeved about this?

It's obvious she's jeleous and threatened by your success. You can't have lost so much weight off your boobs otherwise they'd look like a pair of empty socks, which I'm sure they don't. She just wants to rain on your parade because she's fed up with herself. I've noticed people around me who...

    Super Speed Soup

I made a lovely butternut squash and red pepper soup. Just dry fry and onion in a pan, add a chopped red pepper, some butternut squash and a veg stock cube. Simmer until all veg are soft and then blend to thicken. It's gorgeous!

Saw some pink and whites the other day but wasn't sure of the syn value so was too scared to buy. I have a crunchie, but it has to go in the fridge for a bit too.

    Pregnancy and Slimming World

I can't recommend slimming world enough when pregnant. I followed the plan five and half years ago when I had my youngest and although I put a little weight on towards the end of my pregnancy but once I had my baby I was lighter than before. Just a shame I didn't carry it on then, good luck ladies.

Breakfast, felt so naughty, but, was so sw friendly

It's great isn't it! I had lean bacon, an egg (dry fried of course), mushrooms and beans, couldn't believe they were all free and felt really full afterwards.

    Extra easy

I'm glad you've said that, I thought along the same lines too where fruit is concerned. So it's what is actually on your plate rather than the part of the whole meal.
