    Roast turkey dinner here with carrots kale and cauli (and broccoli) cheese bake from the website, smells good almost ready and the weathers so nice that we can eat on the patio :)

    looks like its 2.5syns per tablespoon which seems a lot when the bisto powder is only half a syn per teaspoon(i add to stock cube) , not sure how much gravy 1 tablespoon makes though?

    That's fab thank you, I can see it now :) I forgot that cheese is also a B choice on a green day It says 35g so i was about right portion wise ...........that might go someway toward making up for the chocolate brownie i had afterwards! Candygirl - might have to try that , i like danish blue...

    The cauli sauce minus curry powder is nice in the base of a fish pie, a lady at group brought it in to a taster and it was lush . Leeks and blue cheese would be nice with it too :)

    That sounds nice, wish my lettuce were an edible size!! Tea here is a salmon rissoto with onion leeks and corgette in , served with a green salad and fat free dressing , going to stir in a bit of quark to make it richer too :)

    Thats a shame, there was a nice recipe for spiced beef in the Jan 2012 magazine but that was more of a casserole .............in fact it was the opposite , it smelled a bit weird when cooking due to the cinammon etc...but tasted nice

    I weigh myself morning and night everyday but i don't really take it to heart, my consultant says some people are ok at weighing at home and can use it as a tool to get back on track whereas others will use any negativety to justify falling off the wagon . I just like to see the numbers go down...

    This was my lunch , green day today Jacket potato and beans(1/2 tin) with 30g of Emmental(HEA) with salad and beetroot it was yummy :) beetroot is my fave salad filler. Its bolognese for dinner made with quorn and red lentlils

    Thanks Rosielea for the velvet crunch tip , will pick some up along with those rolls Morrisons has lots of fruit in it's 50p deal i got pears and kiwis but there was other stuff too (plums and apples that i noticed ) also baby potatoes parsnips carrots and savoy cabbage on offer all about 40-50p

    Beef stew here , with 200g skin on new potatoes(original day!) and cabbage. The stew has beef , carrots, onions, leeks, celery, mushrooms and celeriac in as well as some beef stock and tomato puree . Normally do mainly green days so having a couple of red ones for a change.

    I made this today and had it with SW chips done in the actifry , I used half a bag of frozen cauli a bit of diced courgette that has been in the freezer since last summer and 6 teaspoons of medium curry powder............................it was delicious my hubby thought I had been to the chippy !!
