I'm confused about what an lg is.
Don't let it get to you, you have taken the first really hard step admitting you want to or need to loose weight. Now you need to find a way that will work well for you and fit in with your life.
It could be worse, three stone is 42lb. Make smaller goals. depending on the diet you choose you could make goals for a few lb every two weeks or weekly.
There are loads of different parts of the forum for the different diets. All the diets have their challenges, as do exercise plans.
There are work outs and things on tv and on you tube as well as dvd, I'm sure other people will know more about that than I do.
I think there is a parenting forum so they might also have some good ideas.
