Hi guys,

I've decided to start setting myself mini goals on here to try and motivate myself to lose those pounds a bit quicker! I'm aiming for 1,200 calories a day. So far I've lost 7lbs so my first mini goal is to get to the stone mark! 7lbs to go. My weigh in day is Monday so I'll let you know how I get on!

Thursday 6th March 2014-

Breakfast - Tea with semi-skimmed milk, 2 sweetners, apple (90cals)
Dinner - WW tomato soup with 4 ryvita crackerbreads & 2 extra light laughing cow triangles (192cals)
Tea - 120g sirloin steak, salad (lettuce, cucumber, carrot, red onion, pepper), 70g new potatoes, sweetcorn & 2tbsp lighter than light mayonaisse (446cals) & then!!!! 1/2 cadbury hollow easter egg (265cals) (I've been saving all day for the egg!! Can't wait!)

Snacks - Sugar free jelly (11cals), 1 pink n whites (50cals), Bubbles hot choc with splash of semi skimmed milk (50cals), ww mini bag of cookies (87cals)

Total for the day - 1191 calories.

I obviously haven't had my tea yet, just planned it. Can't wait for it. Does anyone else feel like their whole life just revolves around food when they are on a diet?! Or is that just me. Ha xx

Todays Food Diary - Friday 7th March

Mmm sounds lovely :) I had a salad from subway for lunch which was amazing! I have never been do excited over a salad haha! I haven't eaten much today and have 893 left for dinner. Im trying very hard to not have a dominos with them lol. Im thinking maybe thai noodles with salmon mmm x

Hi Ladies,

Well, friday night I had Spaghetti Bolognese with wholewheat pasta although not a massive portion. I found friday hard for some reason. I think its because at work everyone always has friday morning butties with bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, toasties (they smelled soooo good!) and I was sat there eating my strawberries. And then people had brought in cookies and sweets and everyone was just munching all day but I was so good and didn't have any!! :)

And then I had a very naughty saturday!! I make and decorate birthday, wedding cakes that kind of thing and went to cake international at the weekend where it was just cakes galore! And I may have had a sneaky bit of brownie and cakes! We made and took a healthy dinner though so I didn't feel too bad about it. But then!! I went to a 21st on saturday night, 3 course sit down meal, deep fried brie for starter, chicken, and then sticky toffee pudding then birthday cake (Yikes!!) But it was soooo worth it! I made myself drive to avoid any extra calories on top! And then we danced all night so hopefully that shifted a couple of calories. So all in all, Saturday was sooo naughty!!!

So yesterday, I made sure I was super healthy. I went for a run with my sister (we ran over to the stables where our horses are kept) then once we got there I went for a hack and did some jumping for a good 2 hours or so, so hopefully that helped. Then I had:

Breakfast- None (too busy running and riding)
Dinner - 4 slices Warburtons Milk Roll Bread (188cals), extra light laughing cow triangle (20cals), sainsburys low cal hot choc with a splash of milk (46 cals), Skips (76cals)
Tea- Stir fried veggies with soy sauce and king prawns with a small jacket with laughing cow triangle (385cals), snacksize flake (76cals)
Snacks- Half a cupcake from the cake show (oopsie, not that healthy!! I estimated it at about 300cals), ww mini cookies (87cals)

So yesterday came in at around 1178cals.

Today was weigh in day and I was optimistic as I'd been so good during the week and hoped my naughty saturday hadn't caused too much damage, and to my delight, I'm 2lbs down :)

And yep. It's breakfast, dinner, tea for me. Haha. Sorry if it's confusing!! xx

Today is going ok, but could be better. Finding it quite hard and feeling hungry, no idea why!

Breakfast - Summer fruits alpen light bar (63cals), tea with semi-skimmed milk and 2 sweetners (10cals)
Dinner - Vegetable stir fried veggies with prawns and soy sauce (258cals), 200g strawberries (66cals)
Tea - (haven't had it yet, just planned it) WW Lasagne, Salad (lettuce, cucumber, carrot, pepper), Small jacket with extra light laughing cow triangle. (451cals)
Snacks - ww oaty choc chip cookies, skips, a pink n whites, and a milkyway bar (311cals) Can't seem to get rid of the snacks! I like them too much! lol.

That leaves me with 41cals so I'll probably have a mini milk after tea too.

Don't know why but feeling fat and guilty with snacks today even though I'm still in my calories :-( xx

I allow myself treats on a weekend and snack on fruit etc through the week. I find that snacking on high carb stuff even if it's in my cal allowance means that I don't lose weight. We just have to shift it around to suit our own bodies xx

Haha, thanks Tracy, it's good to know I'm not the only one. :) I cannot kick my snacking. I just like them too much! :) But trying to swap them round. So instead of a biscuit, or weightwatchers bar etc, I'll have strawbs instead. Still hard though :-( xx

I am so glad I havent seen a cookies and cream kit kat! That sounds so yum x

Found you and here to subscribe :)

You are the same as me with your snacks - I can't give them up either!

You're doing great with the way you work your food within 1200 calories, I was on 1100 and didn't distribute them nearly as well which is probably why I didn't stick with calorie counting.

You are doing great, so keep up the good work (treats and all!) and you'll soon be at your first mini goal xx
