Since February I've been on the Slimming World wagon. As of last Tuesday I jumped off and decided to start calorie counting after a rocky few weeks on the weight loss journey.

I started SW at 10st 10lb and got to 9st 7lb and then over holidays/nights out and general fun, I weighed in last Thursday at 9st 13.5lb, pretty disappointed with myself, but also pretty deserved.

My new starting weight as of Thurs 16th October: 9st 13.5lb

My goal weight is: 9st 0lb for christmas ideally!!

I do have a love of running but not so much in the wind and rain, so that has slowed down a little recently but hoping to get back to it in the next few weeks.

Watch this space!
 
Loving the fact I have a new diary, it feels like a whole new fresh start.

I thought I'd update on my calories since Thursday and then add today's food diary later as well.

Thurs - 1160/1200
Fri - 1236/1200
Sat - 3096/1200
Sun - 1246/1667(1200+467 Exercise)

Not a great day on Saturday, but counted everything still. It was a trip to the curry house and I was unprepared and in need of a naughty night. Hopefully it won't have done too much damage, but I'd still be happy with a maintain because of it.

Infusions Salmon fillet with ginger, chilli and lime (154 cal)

Thankyou!! I probably would have been better doing it the opposite way. I've got to the point where I just think I'm generally eating too much and not thinking about whether my body needs it or not.

I'm still eating fairly similar things though tbh.

Still looks very SW friendly Jen, lots of fruit and veg which is good. I think sometimes people use CC as an excuse to eat more bad stuff!

Have you noticed a difference in portion sizes?

Massive difference in portion sizes, I'm also not eating the amount of fruit and generally snacking a lot less too.
I think I'm so used to the things I'm eating I'm making prettty much the same things.
I just feel more like that if I want a small bar of galaxy I can have it, where as with syns I used to save them for the weekend.
 
Here to Sub, so hope CC works for you, you really deserve to get to goal Hun.

I think CC is the most long term sustainable plan too, I can't imagine having to Syn things forever but really weight should be calories in vs calories out, it's a good mindset to have, though personally I made awful choices with CC - think along the lines of "how many cookies can I eat for 1200 calories?" :p

Reckon your weekends will be ok CCing? What was your biggest downfall at the weekend?

Mine was def booze and the 2 x fast days def reigned that damage back in I think. SW just helps me maintain now really I think.

My head really does not feel in the game at all this week! Annoying! x

Mine is the booze too!! I may look at starting the fast days as it will give me a little more to play with at a weekend x

My calculations say ... - 2.75lb
