    I am changing to calorie counting from S W

    Hi I have been trying to lose weight on slimming world extra easy for ages and it just doesn't work for me.

    I had the Hairy Dieters cookery book for Christmas and they seem to have done well with cal counting as I have in the past so I have decided to give it a try. Anyone wanting to offer advice or just friendship I would love to hear from you

    On a week day, 1,300-1,400, more like 1,800 at the weekend. But when I started out, I had about 1,800 a day because I had 10 stone to lose. Start higher so you have room to reduce. xx

    I started on 1200 & lost but then it stopped so I went to 1600 net & the weight does come off!

    I have 1200-1300 on a normal day. I find Calorie Counting works much better for me than SW or WW did. Welcome xx

    mainly healthy but the beauty of it is you can still have treats. I find I have them less as when you count the calories and realise what else you could have for that amount; you start picking the healthier choices. Saying that I don't think I could give my rice crispy squares! (119 calories)
