Hi everyone Iv been on ss for 5 weeks now and have lost a total of 25lbs. What a journey so far, been tuff with having 4 children 6 years and under and a husband to feed but I'm doing it, so I must be doing something right :-). I'm a Monday weigher, good luck this week for everyone. Roll on week 6 weighing.

Hi Shelly!! That's a fab weight loss so far! Especially with such a busy house lol! I've been on plan for 7 months now and surprised my self as haven't come off plan at all (apart from 1 drunken night!!) Been on step 2 since I started as was too heavy for sole source to start with! Have a few sole source weeks to drop the weight quicker! Hoping to be at goal for February!x

Hi Lynsey, wow 7 months that's fabulous well done you, you must be so proud of yourself. It has been difficult but the support I get off my husband is brilliant he's so supportive just what you need really when everyone else is so negative about this diet. Iv been 100% bar the odd ss+ meal when I'm feeling more hungry but I don't see that as a cheat as I always weigh what I'm using and stay in ketoses. what days do you weigh? x

I know what U mean re negative comments about diet... Too expensive, starving yourself etc.... It works though I keep telling them!! It lucky you get support from your husband, mine sits and eats chocolate, donuts, sweets in front of me!!! Makes me more determined to shift the weight as I've always been heavier than him but now I'm 2 stone lighter than him! I've lost 8 and a half stone since April!! Want to lose another 3 by February. I started at 22.1st! I get weighed on a Wednesday lunchtime. I'm gonna do another sole source week in a week or so as I seem to lose 7lbs every time I do that!x

That's fab ur husband supports u... Mine sits and eats sweets etc in front of me lol! I know what u mean re negative comments about the diet! Lots of people have said to me it's not good for me but it's working I keep telling them! I've lost 8 and a half stone since April with another 3 stone to lose by February! Start weight was 22 stone!!
I've 99% stuck to plan, if I've been starving, I have extra cucumber to pick at in an evening and it doesn't seen to make a difference. I just keep telling myself that I'm not paying 45 a week to lose a pound!! I get weighed on a Wednesday.x

8 and a half Stone my god that's fabulous, I don't even no you but I am so proud of you :-) and you must be so proud of yourself. I have been with my husband for 7 years and in the 7 years he has stayed between 10.7 and 11st, in them 7 years I have been at my heaviest 19st and lowest 12st, it's so on fair as he eats way more crap than me, he is almost 5 years younger he's currently 22 and I'm 27 surly that shouldn't justify the weight difference lol. I Started Cambridge at 16.3 and I'm now currently 14.6 I would love to be 9.7!

Bloody hell, that's a big loss in 5 weeks!! I know it's so unfair, my husband has always been around 15st and into his kickboxing, diving etc! I used to say "I don't know how I'm so big, I don't eat that much"... Looking back now, eating near enough a bag of pasta to myself followed by a whole tube of Pringles and a 4 pack of dips wasn't exactly a small evening meal!! The other day I thought I would treat myself with a little extra broccoli... It sounds silly but I was in agony afterwards... Stomach can't handle it anymore lol! I used to look in the mirror and think "I'm not that big" but at 31, 22st isn't normal! It's nice chatting to someone on here, have read loads of stories but never really joined in as don't want people to think I'm boasting! Would be fab to keep in touch x

I currently weight 13st 10lbs so 8 stone 5 off so far, I'm 5ft 7. Im starving tonight for some reason, not enough water today I think! I'm guessing the closer to goal I get, the harder it will be and less ill lose each week. Might be wrong (hopefully!!). How have you done this week? My rep told me about the Cambridge and me app today, it's fab!! Wish I'd have it from the start though! Have you tried the rice pudding yet? I love normal rice pudding but not really impressed with this one, similar to porridges that I've completely gone off as well as the soups! I just stick to shakes and bars now!x

I was starving tonight too so I have a tin of tuna with some cucumber. My week has been ok, been 100% but it's my TOTM which decided to arrive over a week early :-/ and I'm sooo bloated. No I haven't tried the rice pudding one yet as my cdc doesn't get them in until wed and I weigh on mon so I'll have to wait until the following week! My weekly products are the same every week 7 lemon bars and 14 choc ready made shakes. How has your week been so far? xx

Haha I'm very similar... 7 strawberry shakes, 7 choc shakes and 7 lemon bars!!! On average I have been losing just over a stone a month. I find that I have big weight loss one week then a smaller the following week for example, I lost 7lbs last week but then only 3 this week! I do step 2 all the time but once a month I try to so a sole source week and I usually lose 7lbs every time I do that in that week. I do get quite annoyed when I only lose 2 or 3lbs but think I need to realise it might not come off as quick as it did at the start! I've had a good week, I'm just in a routine now and coz I've never cheated, I don't feel the need to eat anything I shouldn't (until I'm on lol!!) in not a big drinker really but find im craving alcohol rather than food!!! Could murder a fruit cider! I tend to keep a lot of cucumbers in the fridge and have some of that if I'm tempted!x

Hehe very similar indeed. I find it so much more difficult when its TOTM but I'll keep plodding along, Iv found my TOTM have been so much more heavy whist being on cd (sorry for tmi) Thats a great plan to do 3 weeks of step 2 then a week of ss, seems to be working incredible well for you and a stone a month is fab. I'm hoping that I can lose 1 stone a month, my weight losses haven't been as big as others on ss but they are what they are and I'm still losing so it's all good :-) Do you have any children? xXx

My consultant lost 7 stone in 5 months and that was purely on ss but she said she didn't have give losses every week so if I did go ss all the time I wouldn't get the big results I hoped for. I'm best on step 2 as I can have some food and still lose the same amount of weight. Ye I've got a 10yr old son, he's off to secondary school next year! How's your Xmas shopping going, all done?? I'm quite organised this year for a change!!x
