Hi everyone!

I very recently decided I need to start taking control over my eating and I could use some support to help me with that :)

Some history: I graduated from university a year ago and came away with a First class degree in Psychology (yay!) but also about an extra 3 stone in weight (boo!). I am a UK size 16-20 and weigh just under 180lbs. I am 5'3.

I'm not trying to follow a specific diet - I'm just cutting out the mindless eating, eating about 1400 calories and doing about 20 minutes of exercise on my cross-trainer a day. I'm only two days in but I really want to stick with it this time. Any tips to help a newbie out?

Nice to meet you!

Good luck and keep posting its great motivation xx

Hi maligreen,

I found I put on loads of weight during uni too and I have just decided to do something about it! I've been struggling as i've never really given diets a proper go but i found if i set mini targets such as today I will go swimming or I will not eat any leftovers i find it a bit easier than looking at the bigger picture which is quite daunting sometimes!

good luck x

Uni is dangerous for weight! Good luck!
