Unhappy OMG!! Surely this can't be right??

    Hey All!

So this is what happened. I did almost 4 months on Lipotrim and lost 5st 12lb. Was so happy and felt great. Had to refeed as I was going away for 10 days (even though I wasn't at target) Admittedly I did eat like a horse, started off on salads but then just let loose. Came home and I have gained 34lbs!! Nearly 2 and a half stone in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even think that was possible! I was expecting about a stone, because I did eat in the same horrible way I did before starting Lipotrim. It IS my TOTM and I do retain lots of water and am hugely bloated..feet, ankles, fingers. Surely that at least is water or did my damn fingers get fat again in 10 days?

Can't believe I was so stupid. Can't believe I've gained so much, so quickly. Devastated and so mad with myself!!! Plus makes me never want to even try refeeding again!!

Oh no this doesbt sound good. Does your body feel like its put that much on?

I thibk thats a harsh lesson thst maintenance is harder than losing at times.

I think you'll lose massive chunk of thst on your first week back of LT.

If u continue like thst you will undo all ure hard work

    Start Weight 06/06/2014 12stone 8lbs

    Week 1 - 11st13lbs (-9lbs)
    Week 2 - 11st 9.5lbs (-3.5lbs)
    Week 3 - 11st 6.5lbs (-3lbs)
    Week 4 - 11st 1.5lbs (-5lbs)
    Week 5- 10st 11.5lbs (-4lbs)
    Week 6 - 10st 7.75lbs (-3.75lbs)

Total lost so far - 2st 0.25 lbs

In 2012 Lipotrim 100% for 16 weekS going from 12st4lbs (size 16) to target of 8st 6lbs (size 8) , total loss of 3st 12lbs. Didnít do refeed, went on and off the wagon for 6 weeks after getting to goal and lost the plot a little. Than fell pregnant at 10 st 7lbs so could not continue with lipotrim. Was just under 12 stone at full term pregnancy. After I had my baby goose the weight just piled on. Back on it for round 2 and this time I WILL MAINTAIN!!

Hi IrishSam, I feel for you, bless you. Right first things first, it might not be as bad as u first thought...
was you still drinking water like a fish, 2+ litres a day? If the answer is no then your body is retaining water..... Also TOTM can make a huge difference, some people loss easily with there TOTM, others the weight loss slows down. Either way u should wait and see after your TOTM is over, then u can see for sure. On the plus you had a great time eating, but now its back to work and you can do, you've told us how well you have done . The lesson is not how to lose weight, its to take control of our eating. If we go back to eating how we were before lipotrim, we will be back to square one in no time. I hope i don't sound too harsh. Your story can lead by example to us all, me included xxx

Goose, you are so right. Such a lesson, harsh doesn't even describe it. Immediately back on LT and honestly sickened every time I think of those numbers on the scale.

Hez, good point. I drank hardly any water, mainly fruit juice which is my weakness. And very little liquids by comparison. I'm just shocked by how much went back on, and how quickly. Before I started LT there's no way the weight went on at that rate. I was eating that badly, blissfully ignorant, all the time then. Trust me to never do anything by halves..in for a penny, in for a pound. Or thirty-frickin-four of them!! Always have to learn the hard way!! But you are right, even if a few are water pounds, it's a lesson learned. And the thing is, the food is NEVER worth it. It's only bloody food!! It's changing habits of a lifetime and taking control. I so loved being in the 100s (lbs) for the first time in 20 years. Dopey mare!!!! Aww well, feel much better mentally now I'm back on LT. Hope no-one makes the same mistake I did.

Thank you ladies, I really appreciate it. Qnwards and downwards for us all xx
