CornishTT S&S Diary
I've been on Minimins since about August, and as of before xmas I'd lost about 2st7lb. Put some weight back on over xmas but have now committed myself to do S&S for 8 weeks. I am planning on doing simplicity for that time, to 'reset' my head about food and food portions.
I've done every conceivable diet over the years but Atkins always seems to work for me, however got quite sick of all the meat near the end, tbh. I don't know why, being South African, I was brought up on meat and meat products like biltong and dried sausage and can eat till the cows come home. But since having 2 kids it's slowly changed, I've recently starting disliking touching it even, very bizarre.
Anyway, I digress, I've got my first week's packs arriving tomorrow (will have slim fast shakes during the day should they only arrive in the afternoon) to see which food packs I like the best, but I am hoping menu will look something like this. I will order the rest of the packs needed near end of week.
B - porridge pancakes (beelishy's recipe)
L - Chilli/spicy spag bol/curry
D - Hot chocolate shake
Evening snack - bar
3-4 litres water, green tea and mint tea (staying away from the coffee these days).

Thanks to everyone fo the warm welcome! Packs have just arrived and I've just had porridge buns, like pancakes but made in silicorne muffin cases in micro. They weren't the best tasting, salty and sweet at the same time, weird. Might try make the next batch the night before, might improve if eaten cold?
I am going to struggle, I know, over the next few days but I am determined to do this for 8 weeks at least. Is there an 8 week club/thread?
Menu looks as such, I have a pint of water with each meal too and also green/peppermint tea.

Oh btw you cant make them up the night before.... they have to be eaten within about 20 mins of making x

The serial weigher that I am I stepped on scales today and im 16st7.2lb, so 4 odd lb down, mental. Drank over 4l of water yesterday and feel fine today. Tummy grumbling a bit this am but I am fine. Onto day 2!
Sorry not caught up on diaries yet, was in bed by 7pm last night, then woken up by hubby snoring and couldn't get back to sleep for ages. Then son awake at 4am and I've been up since then. Sighh. My kids are 4 in may and 2 in april, so sleep deprivation is the norm.

Thanks Pri, how are you doing on day 5? Will ip over to ur diary in a min and catch up. Too right Starlight, let K come soon, though I had a lovely filling breakfast. I used an oatmeal pack and added half tsp cinnamon, 1 egg white and 3 tbsp water, mixed and dry fried in pan, me oh my, it was lovely, didn't taste like diet food at all!
I have so much to do today, have a viewing tomorrow and lets just say place is not show ready, lol. Im on here and procrastinating, get moving Toni!

Loss today 2lb, total lost 6.6lb.

Thanks Abz, I heard sns gives good results and cheapest so went for that. How do you find lipotherm?
Happy with another 2lb loss. Only 3lb away from lowest weight before Christmas, so happy it's coming off quick since I ate for like 3 weeks over the holidays. I was eating much smaller portions though, hell I couldn't even finish my Christmas dinner this year, usually I go back for seconds!
Busy day again today, house still not ready for viewing but getting there. Headache here so ketosis hangover started, wish I could just spend the day in bed. Never mind, headache pills taken and resolve not wavering so I'm going to keep going, how about you?
Lastly, a great motivator I read on Pri's thread about when fantasising about food. If you give into what ever you're fantasising about, your body won't change! So true! My new food fantasy is to be eating a small portion of that lovely food in a size 10! Playing mind games with my mind, lol.

Well done on the loss! Lioptrim is great, but as you said the price is off-putting. Also you don't get as much variety as with S&S, but I like the fact that it's run through a pharmacy who manage your weigh-ins and stuff, they're very motivational! Have a good day x
