Last week I wrote in this section about how I was going to trial IF to see if a) I could do it and b) if I noticed any changes.
I went from 10st 7.5 to 10st 1 in 5 days which is amazing! I found I wasn't hungry and it worked really well. I have myself a 6 hour eating window and increased that to an 8 hour eating window yesterday. I will be doing a 12pm-8pm eating window as this means I can eat lunch at work and a dinner after the gym (I go 4-6 times a week)
After a week my measurements are the same which is good as it means I haven't actually lost any muscle. I have also decided that on a Saturday I'll have a naughtier day in which I will eat "whatever" but still within my eating window. I may adjust the eating window at the weekend to 1-9pm dependent on what I'm doing etc. I'm going to make sure this plan fits in with my life an not fit my life around the plan. As soon as it gets too restrictive, that's when I want out!!
My TDEE is 2084 calories so I am going to make sure I'm eating below that every day (apart from Saturdays when I probably won't count calories) I know I won't go wayyyy over that anyway, I eat relatively well.
I'm hoping others who are IF can help and give me any advice or feedback, that would be fantastic!
