Hello all,
So my story begins. Basically I am one of those people who always says that they are 'on a diet' and then has treats because I've been 'good' - when in fact I have not actually been good at all. I've had an issue about my weight since I was young, when I was 10 I lost 2 stone and became obsessed with calorie counting (yes, 10 years old, children at primary school could still be cruel...). Even at high school I was once called the 'big one' of the group, at this point I was about 10 stone at the most...
Anyway I'm babbling, my goal weight is and has always been 8 stone 7. For my height it's healthy and I have a curvy figure so any less I think would not suit me.
But I really LOVE cheese. Cheese and bread are my downfalls.
A friend at work recommended slimming world as she said you can actually eat on it. So I headed to my first slimming world session dreading the weigh in, I estimated I would be around 10 and a half, and weighed in at 10st13. I didn't get upset though, I was more shocked as I didn't realise I'd let myself go by nearly 2 stone since university (3 years ago).
Now I'm determined to do things right and get healthy. I go to the gym around 4 times a week and just need to get my eating right.
First weigh in on Saturday eek! Any support from anyone would be a great help to me
