Hiya everyone,

Some of you may already know me from being on here previously.. and for anyone who doesn't know me.. Hi I'm Paige!!! :)

I started slimming world last January after putting on weight at my new job and have altogether lost almost 2 stone since then however I've recently lost my motivation and therefore thought I should jump back on here and hopefully I'll get it back!!!!

My main motive for weight loss is due to my upcoming gap year around Australia which I leave for in June (really not leaving myself much time eeek!!!) so it is extremely important that I knuckle down to get the weight off!!!!

I'd love to speak to anyone in a similar position and hear anyone's tips/advice or just have a chat!!!

:D:D:D

It definitely is!! If you hadn't of mentioned that I might have forgot to count that and gone over my syns!!! My day today is quite similar to what I have most days however I'm not really losing weight at the moment unfortunately :(

Hi Paige, I'm Lil :)

Are you going to group this time? Are your stats up to date? If so, you've less than a stone to lose so I've no doubt you'll be grand for Aus!! xx

Hi Lil!! :D

I'm not currently going to group at the moment I stopped in February due to trying to save for Aus!!! My stats are currently up to date!! I really hope so the weight just doesn't seem to be coming off at the moment!!! You've done so well to get to your target!! how long did it take you?! :) xx

About 12-18 months altogether really. I've always been a very slow loser and I definitely took the scenic route - I still made sure I had a normal life with meals out, drinks, wine etc! I never really gained weight apart from a few lbs after holidays etc but generally lost slowly or STS sometimes. I didn't mind though. As long as it was moving in the right direction!

I have a thread in the inspirational photos section which explains my background if you want to nosey :)

My target was 8st originally and I got there last June but I'm maintaining around 8st 7lb at the minute which is fine with me as I'm still a size 8 and I'm doing lots of training at the minute, so need lots of healthy carby foods! I'll lose the last 7lbs again after Easter! xx

Just looking at your food diary, you don't seem to have a lot of speed foods there.

Lunch - only the broccoli, carrots, melon and orange are speed.
Dinner - no speed at all.

Is your natural yogurt fat free?

Upping your speed foods should help with weight loss

HTH

Wow that's fab!!! I've just had a look you look great well done!!! See my goal at the moment is 8 stone 7, I got down to 9 stone 3 recently and was almost happy so I guess I'll have to waitand see how I feel at each!! Well done with all your running that's great and I bet that definitely helps your weight loss!!

Hi Maria,

Quorn sausages are 1 syn each I believe, I put 3 syns down as I thought I may end up being cheeky and having 2.5 sausages ;) x

Hi Lone stitcher!

I generally do have more speed/super speed for breakfast/lunch however I do try and have speed at dinner with a lot of my meals though that definitely is an area I can improve!! my natural yogurt is fat free yes! its not something I enjoy eating but if it fills me up then it doesn't the job!!

I would love to see you get to goal again, i have a stone to lose, i have just come fron ww and have been going up and down all the time

If fat-free natural yoghurt isn't doing it for you, have you switched to fat-free greek style yoghurt?
It is still free on all plans but it has a better texture than Natural yoghurt as it isn't runny (yuck).

Thank you Maria I would too!! Just need to get my mojo back!! 1 stone is a great amount to have to lose I bet you will do it in no time!!

Hi Phoenix Girl!!

its more the taste as I find it quite bitter however I have heard a spoonful of sweetner helps so I may have to try this!!

I add sweetener and a few drops of essence to mine - my favourite is lemon :)
