Well it seems I have made the switch from Lipotrim to S&S so I'm starting my diary here
I have done 2 weeks and a few days on lipotrim and then read about S&S and ordered their samples. 2 days in and so far so good and the weight is still coming off me so very happy!
I'm much happier with the variety with slim and save - so far I like the cottage pie, don't mind the pasta, love the praline bar and the shakes I have tried are good too.
Being able to have 4 portions a day makes a big difference to me - plus having things I can take with me and make up without a blender if I'm away from home (I know you are supposed to be able to "shake" the lipotrim but to me it was always lumpy like that!)
So I lost a stone and a pound with Lipotrim in 2 weeks. I think I'm looking at a smaller loss - maybe 3lbs for this half and half week but I was expecting that even with lipotrim as I had big losses the last 2 weeks. Weigh in tomorrow morning and then will see how I go next week
Oh yeah and anyone know what you are meant to do with the crispy shakes? There are no instructions on making them up? I figured if I blend them then they won't be crispy anymore?!!
Well it is weigh in this morning - not sure exactly where I'll be at as their scales are way out on mine but I reckon I'm still on track for a 3lb loss. I feel a big difference in my clothes this week even though the loss is much smaller - isn't it wierd how that works?!
I am not impressed with any of the soups I've tried so far and the porridge was a bit bleurgh but the meals I have had were yum and the bars delicious so between them and the shakes I should be just fine.
Off for my weigh in and then an energetic day of cleaning!:wave_cry:
Good luck for today's weigh-in mismax.
I blend a couple of ice cubes with either milk or water and stir the crispy shake in and place in the freezer for 5mins. This then tastes like a crispy mousse dessert x x
Well - according to my weigh in I have another 4lbs off. On my scales it is just about 3. I think their scales are a bit off as I weigh about 6 lbs lighter on theirs now and was 4lbs lighter when I started - think it depends where they put them in the room!
Either way it is coming off and I'm happy enough. I have a meal planned tonight of broccoli and white fish. 200g of veg seems a lot. I have only got 100g measured out and it seems ample but that is probably cos I have got used to the measly portion sizes in the packets!
Well I enjoyed my fish but would be just as happy with some of the meal packs I think. I have been having a bit of coke zero so I must make sure I keep drinking water as I'm sure that's helping.
I'm still a bit scared of the bars as they are too tasty - is that mad?!?
Thanks TOTM arrived today so feeling a bit bleurgh but pushing on through it. I've allowed myself an extra shake this evening rather than fall off the wagon completely. I'm sure that will affect my loss but hoped it wouldn't knock me out of ketosis.
I'm waiting for my new S&S supplies to arrive - should be tomorrow I think so that should help as I'm out of the hot dinner kinds and they are what I'm craving just now:cry:
Well -I'm very happy with my first full weeks loss on S&S - 5lbs! I won't be going to weigh in at the pharmacy anymore so I will only be thinking of the weights on my scales, it has been a bit confusing as theirs weigh about half a stone lighter than my own!!
I am down a clothes size and people who know I'm doing a diet have noticed and commented, particularly on how it has come off round my face. Interestingly though I saw a friend yesterday and I would have sworn she had lost at least a stone and a half but she says she has lost 3lbs a week for the last 3 weeks (on ww). She was several stone lighter than me starting out so is it the case that a smaller loss is much more noticable when you are smaller? I suppose that is logical and just shows how messed up my body perception etc. is!
I have met quite a few of my mini-goals (getting into 15's, getting a stone and a half off etc) but one I hadn't expected was that I can now do a shoulder stand in my yoga class by myself!! I always used to need the teacher to give me a boost up and then hated it as I felt so wobbly! Yesterday I could get up and stay up by myself!!! It must be the lack of tummy in the way - I was carrying a lot of weight around my middle so guess that's it
That's a brilliant loss Mismax well done I'm made up for you.
Your loses are all amazing though.
It really spurs you on when people start noticing and paying you compliments
I just got a great boost when a neighbour said how much I'd lost and was looking great
