Hey all! I've been away from minimins for too long!
My family have had a difficult couple of years due to terminal illness and then bereavement in October. I turned to my usual comfort in times of crisis: FOOD!
I have been off any plan for a loooong time, and this morning I weighed in at my heaviest weight ever. But it's not all doom and gloom. I'm starting to feel like I can start building myself back up and taking control. Stepping on the scales today is a fresh start for me.
I'm back, no great proclamation that I'm going to lose all this weight, or "this time I mean it". It's humiliating how many times I've said that, only to end up bigger than I was in the first place.
So... I'm just going to try fresh each day. Each day I'm on track is a bonus. I'm tired of beating myself up, it's really counterproductive!
I have done slim and save before, and lost some good weight. I went straight off it and back to my old ways of eating. Duh! Anyway, what's done is done. I find the plan easy after day 4.
Today is day 1. It has been easy going as I have been very busy at work after a week off. 5 slim and save packs, and plenty of water. Feeling fine.
Day 2 and 3 are usually really difficult for me, I've got my painkillers at the ready! I'm going to try pretending it's day 1 again You never know...
I hope to keep posting here daily, mainly just to ramble and offload. Minis is a great place for that!
