up very early today, got cavity wall insulators coming this morning.

tried out the poachettes that arrived a couple of days ago. worked very well and it made a nice change to have poached eggs.

no idea what to do for dinner tonight, going to try 1syn chicken korma tomorrow, perhaps i'll do a pasta dish tonight, found a nice recipe in the March/April SW mag that i want to try too, just need to find pappardelle pasta and get the other ingredients.

lovely spaghetti bolognaise for dinner with enough of the tomato sauce left over to freeze to make the pappardelle pasta in the week, really looking forward to that. 1 syn chicken curry tomorrow - DD has already tried that and says that its quite coconut-ey. really want to make the cheese and potato pie off the recipe board too.
 
roughly 1 more kg to get into the 'overweight' range on the BMI scale.

have lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks which i am really pleased about, and I have not skimped on food at all. I have cut out bread and related products completely. I'm not fussed on cake and biscuits so not depriving myself of those. I am very focused on my target tho which must be the biggest factor to my weight loss.

woke up with a sore throat and thumping headache today, could have stayed in bed but i had to take DD cat home as he had been staying with me over the weekend while DD was away. Called in Morrisons for a few bits.

Its lovely to see the birds feeding at the feeder, they're going through sunflower hearts at a rate of knots. There's a blue tit that braves the window feeder, he's a fat little thing - i've yet to name him lol. A beautiful goldfinch has arrived as well and has finally worked out how to get at the nyjer seeds.

back to work at midday tomorrow, hope this sore throat doesn't turn into a cold.
