Whats occurring?

Currently babysitting, kids in bed so I'm now settled in with my kindle and a cuppa.
Got here at 7pm but at 8pm they were still here and hadn't actually decided where they were going...they finally decided on a film and left at half 8 but means I was here an hour and a half earlier than I needed to be and will be here till around midnight. Yawn! Glad I've got a bottle of wine in the fridge for when I get home! Hope everyones Fridays are good! X

Sat here wondering if the 3 kids upstairs (one is my son and other 2 are his mates) are going to have nightmares after I discovered them watching 'scream 4'.....they're only 12 and 13!! My son didn't want to sleep on his own after watching the 'woman in black' at the cinema!!

He was from around my area bless him. Let me know if you think the book would be suitable for a mature 11 year old?x

Hey hun, finished the book. By its nature it is very emotional but its beautifully written and very honest. I think your son could read it, however if it were me I would encourage him to talk about it as he goes along. It is upsetting obviously but so uplifting at the same time. I laughed, I cried and my heart broke for his family and still finished it remembering him with a smile. If your son already knows of Harry then I would def say to get it for him x

Sat here in my dressing gown having a brew before everyone else gets up (12 yr old had a sleepover last night and one of his friends threw up at 4am cos of all the crap he'd eaten) :(

Not a lot today.

Hubs has gone of to footy. Miles away so won't be back until early afternoon. He then has work for an hour 4-5.

The children have been up for 20 minutes and are already bickering and arguing so they could be due some downtime today!!

They're goin to get a bath shortly and then ill have a shower!

My washer is also not working properly so I'm gonna try and have a go with that shortly ;)

Also just bits of housework etc, and we will probably go to the park or for a walk or something one dressed.

I'm off to Asda soon to see if I can buy a dress to wear for this weekend, I also need to colour my hair before we go, best get a move on as we're going about lunchtime after OH has finished work.

We're off to Lancaster music festival & staying over, we've been the last few years & it's brill, so looking forward to it.

After curry for tea we are all going to a friends daughters birthday party amhoping filling up on a nice curry will stop me picking at foods there but shall be having a few drinks I think!

This is the dress I bought, it's about 3ins above the knee:eek:, it's a long story why we do fun things, but very briefly, I've always been a 'make the most of your life person' but last year when my father in law passed over & the upset & massive changes we've all made since has really made me live my life as fully as possible. We are very fortunate OH works on the railway & we get free travel in the UK, & discounted abroad, & since both children left home in January it's just made us realise we can have a life & be together & do what WE want to do. So we make the most of our time together :D

Talking of fun things, clay pigeon shooting sounds so much fun, I'd love to do something like that, but I've no hand/eye co-ordination, I can't hit a ball with a bat:p

Just got home from having my new tattoo! It's teeny tiny but I love it, its for my Nan.
When clearing her house we found a box of Christmas cards that she had pre signed because she struggled to do too much writing in one go due to her arthritis so she would sign them "love Vera" and mum would write the names and addresses on the envelopes. Anyway she had already signed a whole box ready to be sent this year. It is her handwriting taken from one of the cards that I kept.

Beautiful x

Sunday is usually my rest day but I'm thinking of going on my crosstrainer today as I won't be able to do it on Tuesday, as I'm meeting my sister for coffee in the morning and then going to meet a friend for lunch, then after picking little one up from school I have WI at 5 and running club after that... so busy busy day.

Today on the other hand I'm doing nothing, think I'll just hang some washing outside to see if it finishes drying, go on the cross trainer and then I have to entertain myself while my boyfriend does some work. So TV and I think I'll read some more of my game of thrones book :)
