Hi Circes just read your thread above, I'm really confused. I understood that if you used syn free pasta n sauce i.e Batchelors Tomato onion & herb (made up with water) in your quiches the quiche would be syn free. I also checked in the slimming world food directory 2010 and the tomato one...

Yes they are free I checked with slimming world. If you use syn free pasta n sauce they remain free after they are cooked

Hi Kissme i have double checked with slimming world re quiches made from pasta n sauces if they are syn free they remain syn free after they have been cooked in a quiche. One example is to be found in SW recipe archive.... great for green. Colourful vegetable quiche its free on green...

American style pancakes Stacey where did you get the recipe or did you think it up yourself? 10 out of 10 they sounded yummy and tasted yummy. I had mine with granulated sweetener and fresh lemon juice this lunch time I couldn't wait for pancake day :bliss:

syn free quiche I have made lots of sw quiches i love them because they're free of syns. when i add veggies to the basic recipe my quiches usually end up watery. so i just use pasta n sauce (syn free ones) and mix with eggs and cottage cheese and have veggies on the side

I spray my pan (its an omelette/ pancake pan) with fry light and get the pan fairly hot. My eggs never stick and i can manage to turn them over for a couple of seconds just to "cook" the top of the yolk which prevents them being snotty ha ha brilliant

Thanks for this recipe Stacey they sound yummy, I'm gonna have a go at making the pancakes. I love sweet potatoes so its good to find different ways to use them in cooking.

I have to agree Homity pie is delicious both hot and cold, i found it tasty either way. I enjoyed mine with baked beans and a "dry" fried egg

Not sure if it would work with quorn pieces Heyla as you have to keep turning the chicken to coat it, so maybe quorn would break up eventually
