    Asda still has Batchelor's rice (golden, curry, beef etc) on 3 for £1, as well as Super Noodles and Pasta n Sauce if that helps anyone. Offers usually end on a Tuesday, can't find anywhere that says where this one will end though.

    stupidly bought some scales....

    Always use your scales on a hard surface - carpet is no good. My scales showed I'd had a six pound loss in a couple of days - I thought they were wrong, but OH has checked them and so have I (again and again!) and it looks like they are working properly :eek:

    Over the course of the day I'd eaten at least a third superfoods, I'm just getting the hang of it so trying to balance it all out - to be fair it was my first day. I'd hoped this forum didn't have snippy people but perhaps I was wrong.

    Yesterday I had two Dairylea lights and a little skimmed milk in two cups of tea. Today I just had some skimmed milk in my omelette, nowhere near the 350ml. I'll have a couple of pieces of bread or a couple of Alpen bars tomorrow, it's the only thing I couldn't really get my head around...

    It just doesn't feel right eating rice! I kept finding conflicting advice on it being free. I'll make sure I eat plenty tonight, I have some quark in the fridge. Might make an omelette to go with jacket potato. Thanks.

    Any advice/encouragement would be appreciated. I want to lose about two stone, maybe a little more. I work full time so will be needing ideas for lunches etc. I love my wine, I can go without during the week but the weekends are going to be so hard! Thanks in advance :)
