    Tunnocks caramel wafers

That's for the standard sized ones - have a tub of bitesize here in the staffroom too. They're considerably smaller than half a normal bar but I think I'm going to call them 3 syns each anyway...

Extra Easy That guilty feeling.......................but is the food ok? advice please!

Also, pretty sure 1 x slice wholemeal bread (400g loaf) is a HEB, not HEA. Or am I wrong? Lol, no doubt someone who hasn't mislaid their book under piles of mess on the sofa will correct me if so. lol! But yeah, you seem to be doing more than fine :)

Thanks debs! That's good to know, I was clearly putting the egg in too early / separately or some other ridiculous thing, lol. Maybe I could try actually working from the recipe...

    Whole Chicken

I don't go to a group so sadly don't know, but I do the same thing - roast a whole chicken, keep in fridge and then take all skin and fat off prior to eating. I'd been assuming it's ok as obviously it's cheaper this way, so I hope I'm right...:P

    Quark omg

So trying this. My previous attempts at slimming world carbonara have not been successful (think I remember using eggs? which - predictably - scrambled?) but this sounds like a good plan. Also VERY excited at the idea of using them for pasta n' sauce - they're a staple of mine when I'm too...

    New again to slimming world.

Hi Louann! I am also starting Slimming World again, and I know how tough it can be when you're doing it yourself. I find minimins very useful though - often (whisper it) even more useful than the official site when it comes to recipes etc. Best of luck xx

syn free rice pudding - YUM

That sounds amazing - one I'll definitely have to try! I also made one that was completely syn and HE free this morning, and honestly it was a lot better than I thought it would be! Quite simply: 1 x mug pudding rice 2 x mug water (I pre-boiled in kettle to save time) 1 x muller toffee /...

Newbie Posting Privileges and Links Policy!

Thanks for this. I don understand the ethos of encouraging people to engage in the community instead of just lurking, and particularly to look at other members' photos and stuff, but I have to say, I do find it it a bit odd that we have to wait to even upload an avatar of our own...:P Oh well!

    Overeating, like drugs, alters brain

I can so relate to this and I don't feel guilty making the comparison. The only other prior addiction I can personally claim is nicotine, but I've also had close-up experience of alcohol, cocaine and ketamine addictions (as well as "lesser" drugs) through several family and friends, and I'm...
