    Got to say, I love the porridge too, seem to have got the hang of mixing it with minimum lumps too!! My wife though can't stand it!

    Breaks...

    Carolyn, I've done this a couple of times and it hasn't affected me. I've also had a few days off due to Birthdays etc, but still continue to lose weight. Sticking to it this week though in the hope of losing around 7 lb.

    feeling soo weak

    The first couple of days are the worst as you go through a bit of glucose withdrawal and getting used to the diet. After 2-3 days you will feel a LOT better and the diet gets easier. Be tough and make it through these early days...you can do it! The results are worth it!

    Starting again!

    Not a bad week considering I cheated on two days! Don't know why, but I can't just cheat a little bit, but have to go OTT and binge!! Anyway 12lb in week one and 4 lb this week so I feel a bit better.....but what if I hadn't cheated!:mad:

    Lost almost 5 stone 2 years ago and yes, you guessed it put it all back on...and then some!. I'm determined this time to lose it AND do maintenance to keep it off (went straight on holiday, no maintenance, and then couldn't get back on the diet....eventually putting all the weight back...

    I was a lurker and occasional poster on the Discovery Home and Health forum, but fell off the wagon a good few weeks ago. Went back on the site recently and a lot of the regulars had disappeared.....onto here it seems! Back on the diet (CD) after putting on just over a stone and I need to lose...
