I know this sounds really strange but the instant mashed potato you can buy but sprinkle on in it's powder consistency. I use it with herbs and dices mixed in to make crispy chicken ( the recipe is on here) so might work quite well as a topping instead of breadcrumbs? X

You can buy the roasting bags on their own in the supermarket and add your own syn free seasoning, you get them same juicy chicken but without the syns. They do the big enough to fit a whole bird in for your Sunday lunch!
