    I didn't really get on with the soups or porridges but I love the tetra shakes. Everyone is different though, so it's worth trying a mix of things to start with to see what suits your taste. The first few days are the hardest, but just drink loads of water and know that it will be worth it...

    how much water you having?

    I would definitely recommend the water flavourings. I wouldn't be able to manage to get the water requirement in if it wasn't for the berry one.

    Day three and thinking about giving up

    Are you having the packet shakes or the tetras? I couldn't get on with the packets but I love the tetras because they are quick and easy and are always mixed properly. The only sachet one I really liked was the chocolate orange. Have you tried the bars, soups and porridges? I'm not a fan but...

    My consultant has said that the average is about a stone a month, following the plan properly. There is no reason why you can't lose the 3 stone . :-)

    I'd ask your consultant. I know you can get Cambridge Fibre powder to help and I think my consultant has mentioned Senokot (not sure of the spelling of that one)

    I kept my bottles to reuse. That way I save the expense of the bottled water, but can still keep track of how much I am drinking.

    Have you tried the Cambridge fibre powder? You have a spoonful a day dissolved in something and it is supposed to help :-)

    Congratulations! :-) that's great news. I get weighed on Wednesday. Last week was my first weigh in after starting and I dropped 6lb. I've had a wedding this weekend but I chose reasonably carefully so I'm hoping for another loss this week. :-)

    how much water you having?

    How much is too much? How much water is too much? I am on day 2 and have been drinking water to alleviate the hunger. I have drunk 4 litres of water today and was wondering if it was entirely safe.

    I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and have just started the Cambridge plan. Fingers crossed this works!
