I am looking for an overhead projection thing - not sure what the correct name of it is - but I want to be able to put photographs that I have taken on/in it and have it display on canvases so I can then paint them.....good for portraits too.

I have seen some, where you put the photo UNDER the unit and it shines up on a screen/wall/canvas, etc., and then the big units with a glass top wher eyou put the pic on that and it displays, but I think those are usually for transparent sheets?

I don;t want one that needs a PC to run, but one that stands alone.

    ANy ideas??

    Thank you!

I found one. An Artograph Super Prism Projector. Bit pricey though but looks nice. Will keep an eye out on EBAY.
