When I was trying on my dress for tonight to see if I could fit in it...

...my OH said "ooo - I like that one - you remind me a bit of Audrey Hepburn in that."
He's not usually one for giving compliments, so it's extra excellent. Woo hoo! I shall feel super dooper tonight now.

I'm really looking forward to tonight now. Last night me and my friend had the whole what are you going to wear conversation, and I was thinking that if I hadn't already bought a ticket I wouldn't bother. Now I'm looking forward to dancing and seeing everyone. Woop woop!!!

Yes - he is, but he's not coming tonight. It's burlesque night and he hates it. Shame, but pointless him going if he won't enjoy it.
