Awful man promoting anorexia to young girls

i am a support worker for people with eating disorders in a specialised in-patient unit. the amount of people we have in already. not only struggling with food issues, but we have some patients who wont take in any fluid not even water. its a terrible terrible illness and i would never wish it on anyone.
He has obviously never had interaction with eating disorders before because he would realise the impact - i would like him to met some of these serious ill people but i personally wouldn't trust him anywhere near them.
 
Unfortunately some of my friends were effected by some of the things he said as they have eating disorders. I only sought him out myself because people were going on & on about it and I wish I hadn't!

I don't believe it was a hoax.. he was clearly talking to girls on there, encouraging them to lose weight - or I suppose he just made their accounts to prove his point? His disgusting behaviour could very well lead to a death!

While I was deep in my eating disorder, this kind of thing would have kept me going. I am so glad that I am strong enough to fight a relapse because I just don't think my husband could take it!

I totally agree with you Pearly he clearly hasn't a clue about how deep a mental illness it is, or how vulnerable young girls (and even grown women) can be regarding these issues.

I too had to Google him and read the article.

It has made me feel sick.

He should be locked up and starved. See how he likes it!

(By the way I know anorexics don't deliberately do it - I'm just saying he should be made to do what he's trying to make others do!)
