Can this still work if f i dont like salad and veg??

Hi everyone! I am brand new to Slimming World and this forum. I went along to my first class last Monday so tonight is my first weigh in!
I have followed the diet for a full week and to be honest i dont feel like i have lost at all. I think this is because i am having too much of the free foods ( i know they are classed as free and unlimited but i just cant see how i will loose while eating pasta, rice, potatos etc every day) My problem though is that there is not much veg i like so i find it difficult to fill my plate with 1/3 of superfree foods. I have been eating a lot of fruit to compensate. I am looking for a bit advice or maybe some tips to help me. Can this diets still work if you dont like veg??

Have you tried soups? You can blend your veg into that so you cant see what your eating, do you like stir fry or casseroles where the veg is actually cooked as part of the meal rather than on the side of your plate??
