Dunno how many of you will have one? but I found this app for GPS enabled Windows Smartphones / Pocket PC:

GPS Cycle Computer v3 - xda-developers

It records your stats while running or cycling; speed, distance, postition etc., and allows you to output it into Google Earth so you can see where you've been.

Might be useful for training purposes?

I gave it a test earlier today (in the car...) and when you upload the data into Google Earth it followed the roads pretty well. I was out on a big circular route doing some errands and included going to the supermarket. You could even see on Google Earth which parking space I'd used lol
