I've never watched biggest loser before but I was watching the American one the other day so might give it a go.
As for Shameless, I haven't watched last series yet so don't want spoil it. I watched quite a bit of last series being filmed, they do it locally to me and it was fun seeing all the characters. However it did get a bit boring after a while though as they keep filming the same scenes over and over lol

I never watched Shameless when it was on tv until the last series so me & Hubby have been watching it on dvd from the beginning. Last night we just finished watching all of it so can't wait to see what the new series got to offer

It's amazing that Shameless begins its 8th series tonight!
To me it is something I still watch, but went downhill after the 2nd series.
Don't get me wrong, it is still hard-hitting etc. but sometimes I think they just try to be a bit like a very rude version of Bread!
Besdies, most of my favourite characters left and were replaced by dross!
Bring back Marty, the tourettes inflicted arsonist for starters!

I miss some of the old characters, loved Marty and Kev & Veronica
Get rid of Monica though, cant stand the woman lol!
