the thread was brill,what sort of meals do u hav on ee day.how about tuna mixed with pasta a little cheddar cheese and some low fat salad cream is that good thanx

Yes that's good, but remember 1/3 of your meal needs to be superfree, i.e. fruit and/or veg. Also the salad cream would need to be synned, as would the cheese unless it was a HEa choice.

thank you sarah,im gonna giv it a go from next monday.could i hav chicken chowmein,coz its got noodles beansprouts and chicken,the beansprouts r the superfree food isit ?

Yes beansprouts are superfree. Just bear in mind with noodles, if they are the ones you add straight to the wok they have syns, the dried ones that need to be cooked are free. Also if you use a ready made chow mein sauce, it will have syns depending on the brand.

i was thinkin the chicken chow mein from the take away.any ideas what i could have on a green day and red day and ee day please from the takeaway,low in syns please.

It's worth noting that these are for average takeaway portions - the chicken chow mein is quoted as 380g - and your portion could be a lot bigger so it's a good idea to weigh it before you dig in as the syns could be a lot more!
