... since starting. Twice today I've been dealing with food for other people and actually imagined eating what I was dishing up. This is the first time I've let my mind wander that far into food world.

Pre-LL I would have just stuffed said food into gob with no problem, now I didn't, but it's reminded me that when I'm back in that land of eating there will always be times I'll need to stop myself.

I am bearing in mind too that at the time I was "tempted" I was thinking about unpleasant emotional stuff, so it was definitely a trigger moment.

Sorry, slightly long-winded thinking aloud from me :eek: Otherwise all ok, hoping for a slightly better loss on Monday than last week's paltry 1 lb.

have you measured yourself, maybe there is good news there instead of scales

Thanks Sojafay - and yes, we got measured at group on Monday. Our LLC held the tape out to where we measured on the first meeting - I was gobsmacked! I knew I'd lost inches but it was such a boost to actually see it.

You are doing really well Lucy ... especially after all you are going through. I'm sure by the time you get to the point where you are allowed food again you will have learnt how to deal with those "gobble it all up" moments;)

Thanks Yoyo. I think because this part is so easy (in that we don't have to make any decisions except vanilla or mushroom!) it's easy to forget about normal eating situations. All in good time tho - I've a lot of CBT and TA to go yet! :)
