First slimming world day!

OK, so today is my first proper slimming world day. I went and bought my supplies last night and planned and made my food for today. I am away from 7 in the morning until 7 at night so I need to bring breakfast lunch and dinner with me to work! I officially start my slimming world class on Tuesday but wanted to get started as I am fed up with my weight at the minute! I will be here most days as I find I need to check in with people and tell them how I am getting on so I apologise in advance!! Hope you are all having a good day!!!

Good luck to you all! Slimming world is soo good and easy to follow. You may feel like your over eating as your allowed so much but stick with it and you will see amazing results!!xx
 
Not had chance to have a proper look through the book or on here yet so didn't wanna just grab anything incase I was wrong. Any quick tips? :)

My first tip would be don't go hungry! If you're nervous about what to eat then stick to fruit and veggies. Stuff your face with them!
 
Yeh that's what I've been doing and muller light hogs but found I'm still hungry! Must just be an unprepared fatty lol think I'll have a cooking weekend for meals and snacks, any recommendations?
 
Good luck ladies! As for recipes check out the recipe sub forum there is loads of fab ideas! Or the what's for tea thread on slimming world might give you a few ideas :)

Make up a big batch of free & super free pasta salad. Just boil some pasta and let it cool, throw in a load of cooked veggies (whatever takes your fancy) drizzle with lemon juice and you've got yourself a brilliant filling snack/meal that you can eat as much as you like of.

Omlettes are also really good for filling you up, again fill it to the brim with whatever super free veg you like and away you go!
 
I am the same, because I have not been to a class yet and dont have all the info I am scared about what i can fill up on!! The pasta salad sounds like an idea...wholemeal pasta?? Think ill have yoghurt and some fruit maybe when I go home!!
 
Hi why don't you start a food diary thread in the subforum for food diaries ? That way you can check in every day like you said you will need to and write down everything. And also if you're doing anything wrong its a great way for people to help you
 
Mmm...that's a good idea, think I need to think about the next day the night before so there's stuff in the fridge to snack on, thanks

Think I will do diary on here I've just got a piece of paper on the fridge ATM lol :)
 
Good luck, I've been on sw 3 weeks and I'm currently addicted to sw quiche! 150g cottage cheese, 3 eggs throw whatever you fancy in it and bake. My favourite is mushroom and bacon. Snack on it anytime :) x

Any dried pasta is free so you could have whole meal or normal white, whichever you prefer.
