Thanks my little gems, been in every shop EXCEPT morrisons and Tesco. Will pick some up over the weekend. Don't think were cultured enough round here for the shops to stock them lol.

Yep, it's Tesco for me! They are sooooo cheap, 44p and make lovely pate.

Are they free - made a pate at easter that went down a storm at easter - will omit the butter and try with frylight instead?

Has someone been watching Jamie Oliver?
Some of the recipes he made in his Christmas shows this week have looked gorgeous - especially the chicken liver parfait with a whole block of butter in it
I'm considering making it as a treat for
Boxing Day if I can live with the guilt that is!!!!

I saw that too - I nearly had to run to the kitchen and make some You could make it without the butter and use v low fat philly type instead, I make a mushroom pate/dip with that so I guess it would be the same

Remember that if you are not going to eat it straightaway, you need to pour some melted butter over the top so that it will keep for several days peeps. No getting away from the butter there lol.
