I have today brought the morrisons value cottage cheese as it was 44p per pot as apposed to seventy something (or was it more) for the eat smart range. Having checked the nutritional content there was very little in it (less calories, slightly less fat, 0.1 gram more carbs) - can someone check the SW website and let me know if it's syn free?

Thanks (with fingers crossed!)

per 100g
cal - 71
protein - 11
carb - 4.7
fat - 0.9

Its free hun the above poster didn't put in the free food allowance. x

would it not only be free if it was low fat cottage cheese? cos that'd mean any cottage cheese was free regardless of being low fat or not :S

wow i never knew normal cottage cheeses were free i've been buying THL one forever! cheers! x

I think it depends on the calories hun I just know that there is a free food allowance for cottage cheese. Strange but true. Not all of them are free, Tesco with pineapple isnt and neither is the Asda good for you with sweet pepper and chilli
