Hey guys, hope your all doing well. Im on my 24th day (yes im still counting the days lol) of LLL and up untill last sunday ive been doing fantastic. My weight loss in that time is nearly 1 and a half stones, averaging 5 lbs a week. However, since sunday, ive not lost any weight at all. I haven't done anything diff this week than any other, ive even been for a number 2 which is normally quite hard to do as you will know. I was due on though, so felt quite bloated the last 5 or so days and came on this morning (sorry blokes) im just a little confused really. Im still in ketosis, because i can taste it and im not hungry. I did call my counsellor and she said not to worry and in her experience women can gain 7lbs over their time of the month. Its just never happened to me before, i did LLT 6 years ago and lost an average of 5lbs every week then aswell. I have had children since then so maybe my bodies changed. Its just disheartening to wake up everyday and still be the same weight when im only averaging 600kcals a day. Any words of wisdom ? x

Your experience sounds very similar to mine. I lost well for the first two weeks and then hardly anything for the next three weeks. there are a few things you could change to boost things a little bit. these worked for me:

Stop eating bars if you currently are
drink more water. I increased from 1-2 litres to 3-4
Stop having quite so much water flavourings as they bloat me
Stop having quite so much broth as it contains salt which could also lead to bloating
Have more packs which are liquid based like shakes and soups
Cut out tea and coffee completely and replace with more water

I really seriously wanted to lose decent amounts of weight and made some pretty big changes so it would happen. Thankfully for me it seems to be working.

However, do bear in mind that it can take a couple of days for any retained water from your pre menstrual week to come off. So you may see a big loss over the next day or two. Drink a bit more water to help this along.
