CC - I looked into flights last time when you were going to come with us this Jan.... they are mega expensive.... and don't think they even fly direct to Newcastle from BHam.....

The train only takes around 3 1/2 hours and shouldn't be too expensive.... I may even take the train myself this time.....

I'll have to be a "maybe" at the moment as DH and I are hoping to go away for Xmas and New Year.

We haven't booked anything yet so I'm a tentative "yes" at the moment. But even if we do go away, I may still be back in time so hopefully I can be there
