No snow in Cornwall but it's still freezing - comfort food needed!

I tried a carbonara tonight, got the recipe from Kingleds, and that was really filling and also really quick and easy to make x

Leek and potato soup for me. Have it about 3 times a week atm. Cant get enough of it, strange thing is I dont like leeks. However, I can eat all sorts of veg if blended. Loving these soups, had chicken and sweetcorn today. So so so easy to do!

Well as I watch virtually every single inch of the UK on telly covered with snow, there is not a single flake in Cornwall!

It is still utterly freezing though - soooooo I think ciomfort food and lots of it is needed.

What's everybody's favourite meal for a cold winter's night? Tonight it's roast chicken and tomorrow is macaroni cheese - yum.

Sausage, mash, beans and onion gravy.
Cottage pie
Cheesy mash served with veggies on the side
Bacon carbonara
gammon broth
homemade chunky vegetable soups with pasta in
Stew and dumplings
Homemade beef pie and chunky chips
fish pie with mash and parsley sauce
sausage casserole
chilli con carne

These are all yummy meals I love in the winter xxx
