i cant belive it happened, it was such a long time coming. it feels so good to have him machine-less, all he has now is a temporary pacer, no artificial heart, no defib, nothing. just him and a beautifully strong heart beating in his chest. he looks pink and so healthy already. still has a long way to go, still got a lot IV's in, is on 02 and 2 chest drains still in, but he is going to be ok. he seems to have a read a book on how to recover from transplant surgery as he is doing so well.

will pop back in to update, but please do check the blog as well.

we have been in the telegraph, mirror and will be in local paper next week (maybe i should start charging lol)
 
My brother had a heart/lung transplant at 14. he is now 30 and doing well! Your future will be bright. Hang in there and congrats.xxx
