Pastry??

Hi all,

Was just looking at the stupid amounts of syns in ready made pastry and wondered whether anyone had found/discovered/made SW friendly pastry. Due to its very nature I'm not expecting miracles, but even something where I could get it down to about 5 syns for a mini tartlet or something would be great. We just got a mini muffin pan have seen it in action with mini filo cheesey tarts and chocolatey shortcrust tarts but obviously didn't dare indulge. Would really love to recreate something similar for lunchboxes but with lower syn alternatives. Cheese and chocolate alternatives are second to none...but the pastry is proving a sticking point. Recipe ideas gratefully received both for pastry alternatives and mini muffin recipes :D

when I used to go to class one of the members made some lovely savoury open tarts between 1-4 syns depending on filling (e.g. caramelised onion and goat's cheese etc)....she used 'ready to roll' gluten free pastry which worked out at far fewer syns that conventional pastry...
