Saturday's body magic!

Going to clean, polish and valet the car to within an inch of its life!
In fact, going to see if I can get those alloys shining again. No doubt this will bring floods and storm to the region, but it's a risk i'm prepared to take.

For sport, later on, I'm going to go to Kwik Fit (other tyre companies are available) just to see how many tyres need replacing this week. It varies from store-to-store and on good weeks, you get different answers from the same store.

I know its not nice, but I do enjoy a bit of "overall-baiting" :p

Okay okay fine, I'll do this for my body magic too.

My car thanks you :p x

I returned home from work yesterday to find OH had washed my car. Brill I thought I'll polish it, but here we are on Saturday morning & it still needs polishing, because the flippin rain meant I couldn't do it yesterday or today:cool:

Oh no! - Epic Failure!!!

So after trying to use the rain as an excuse NOT to do it, eventually out came the sun and it was cracking the pavement!

Handwashing is not good - just where do all those car care kits, chamois, polishes, etc. go to when you really need to use them?

Long story short, toys out of the pram and fled to a local car wash with un-rinsed suds flying of my bemused Note!

Oh, and the aforementioned "overall baiting" provided a suitable sting in the tail. Best quote of £440 for 4 new tyres and that wasn't merely the opinion of the majors!

Even four "budget" tyres will cost £244 - £61 for a tyre.

I feel a rant coming on:eek:

On the plus side, it smells really nice inside;)

Tyreshopper.co.uk. Best price for tyres,g
They deliver them to a chosen tyre specialist you book appointment for fitting. My Mr does many miles and goes through tyres like milk! Even national tyres said they couldn't match the price, they fitted ours. And you get vouchers off next time x
