Slimming World online

Hi

Is anyone an online member? Is it worth the £20 odd a month? I'm tempted, but having to pay for 3 months in advance makes it an expensive option for me.

I'm an online member MMC.

To be honest, it's really marginal. We're very much 2nd class citizens. You get access to a few extra receipes, some very clunky tools, the same half dozen 'motivational' e-mails and at the basic level (bronze) you don't even get a hard copy of the books.

I have no issues with the actual diet but the online membership is a really shoddy effort.

Signing up to a group and going once to get the books etc would be a cheaper option. You can get more support on here than you ever will from SW online.

I've joined online as I can't get to class right now and basically didn't want to loose access to the syns calculator as I use it a lot to check stuff but as Pavster says we are a poor relation to the classes.

Considering the money they are charging I do think more support and possibly online consultants should be provided.

You really are on your own apart from a few emails which really don't inspire at all.

I really would advise going to a class if you possibly can but you'll get great support from this site if your not able to.

Thanks guys, what tempts me is the online tracker and database, I think I can get my support from here, it seems an expensive way to look up syns though! I do have the up to date books but I don't feel the eating out section is up to much.
