SYN FREE?!!?! Sainsbury's Beef Burgers, Basics

    in the syns calculator Sainsbury's Beef Burgers, Basics x8 397g come out as free. :eek:!!!


    per portion:
    calorie-86
    protein-6.6
    carbs-4.2
    fat4.8
    package size- 397g

    Free per package/portion on Extra Easy

    4½ Syns per package/portion on Green

    Free per package/portion on Original


    please someone double check that maybe i'm going mental.:p

    they might be gross but as i'm a poor student this might bulk up a meal cheaply.;)

    but yeah double check cos i might be wrong. :D:D

    Did you work it out using the package size or the portion size? The nutritional info is per burger not for the full package and that would likely make a difference.

    well i did per burger then it asked me for the package size. let me try per 100g then the package size

    I have just worked it out at 2 syns on original and extra easy and 4.5 on green

    lol i did 100g then the package size. 19.5 syns per package. is that the whole packet yeah?

    i'm so confused!! i dont get this syns calculator. pppffts

    thank you, need to get the hang of things.

    so when you do the values of a portion size you need to put the g of the portion size
    and when you do 100g you put in the g of the whole package?


    hopefully that made sense

    when you do portion size put in g per portion but when you do 100g you need to put in g for 100 g not whole package (unless it package is 100g)

    I put in the values that you gave above for each portion and then for portion size I divided 397g by 8 (8 burgers in pack) (49.6g each burger)
