Where to start?

HI all

I have been doing the Cambridge Diet for months and have lost 3.5 stone, but then after getting married and honeymoon earlier this year and struggling to get back into it. So, I have decided it is time for a change, I have 1 stone to lose and I just want to get back to healthy eating and eating with the family (not easy to do on CD when all you have is a mug of soup).

I am off camping next week, so wont be going to an actual group meeting till after that, but I want to get started NOW - in fact I just used one of the SW recipes for my lunch.

SO - without needing to know the whole chart of syns etc, what do I need to know to get started for 2 weeks until I can go to a group and get whatever information pack they will give me?

Hi there & welcome to SW

If you have a look at the 'Stickies' on the main page there are lots of threads for newcomers that you will find useful & will help guide you thru the SW way of eating.
Good luck with your weight loss.

buy a magazine, they do a seven day plan :)

There is a free 7 day plan on the SW Website, vegeterian and non vegeterian, but I would read up on it as much as you can beforehand so you get the basics otherwise it can get confusing and rather than just following an eating plan for the sake of it you will understand why you are eating wht you are i.e. your healthy extras etc. this forum has some great threads if you can spare the time to read up and then you can use the search facility to answer any questions about things you are unsure about as there is a thread for everything on here! good luck!
