Works xmas meal help...

    Hi,
    As the title says, I'm needing some help on works christmas meal.
    The starter is either
    Prawn Cocktail
    Tomatoe & roasted red pepper soup with bread
    Breaded mushrooms

    The main is either
    Roast turkey (traditional xmas meal)
    Fish & chips
    Broccoli & mushroom wellington

    Then the desert
    Chocolate brownie,
    Salted caramel Profiterols
    After eigh ice cream sundae.

    It doesn't say calories so I can't work out a basic amount.
    Which one would you say is the least syns?

    SW / MFP
    Soup and turkey definitely. Fish is battered and Wellington is pastry. You could skip any sauces that will ramp up kcal like gravy or cranberry. All the puddings sound much of a muchness but also yummy. TBH it's a social night, I'd choose mains carefully then have whichever of the puddings I wanted most. You could always leave some (yeah like I'd do that!!)

    You know, my strategy has always been that if I am having a christmas, birthday meal or whatever I will order what I want and not have any other syns that day. You have 21 meals in a week so make sure the other 20 are full of speed and enjoy it :)

    If that was me....I would probably opt for

    Prawns without the cocktail sauce

    Turkey dinner.

    Brownie...ask for no ice cream/cream....damage limitation here ;)
