    restarted yesterday

    Hey all

    ive just joined this forum so i dont really know what im doing but im posting my first post i restarted the cambridge diet yesterday so far so good ! I first did this diet in 2011 and lost over 2 stone and managed to keep most of the weight off and have another 2 and half stone to go to reach my goal! ive tried many time to restart the diet but find it a struggle to make it past the first few days but im determined to do this time i think ive got my mindset in the right place for the first time since i first did it lol.

    If anyone fancies buddying up let me know

    Id love to be your buddy, we have similar stats, i weigh more but im a lot taller so looking at your bmi. I restarted yesterday after doing this in september.

    This is the last time i do it! if i just stick to it it will only be a few months out of my life, otherwise i seem to be on a different diet every other week!!

    thanks for the replies lets buddy up found it a bit of a struggle today so hungry im just hanging on till i get into ketosis so hopefully i wont be hungry any more x

    second day was awesome.
    Im doing a combo of SS+ and 810
    I lost 4lbs over night from day 1 to day 2 (I even recorded it in my stats left!
    I could be on course for up to 10lbs loss by weigh in next Monday buut id be happy with 8

    How are you both feeling today? I dont ever really feel hungry on this diet just so fanciful! like i never eat burgers but right now i could murder one! Really does make you appreciate food so much more.

    rumbly- i weighed myself today and 5lbs off in 2 days, last time i did this i lost 8lbs in first week but it was totm so i thought i should have lost more. Im kind of hoping for the 10lb mark but anything will be good!!

    I love this diet because it works. I hate this diet because I do have dark thoughts about food I wouldn't necessarily eat! Lol
    One way I look at avoiding temptation is to think.. ..... Hang on, I'm paying I can't afford to waste on packs of magic medicine. I mean, would you spend 40 a week on food and chuck it in the bin normally?
    Or give 40 a week to a total stranger and get them to call you fat in return? Cos in effect, that's was cheating does to you! Harsh but true.
    I also look back at all the Christmases and holidays where I was utterly miserable because I was overweight. The times I was dying inside and wished I was thin.
    These things stop me from opening the fridge door and bread bin.

    luckily i have no temptation around me, as we have nothing in our fridge or cupboards apart from tetras in the freezer! im not tempted anyway just been having extremely strange dreams about food haha.

    just had a black tea, im growing to quite like them with a sweetex. apart from i hate how disgusting it leaves my mug!

    what do you both do for a living? I have a car and van rental company hence why i can be on here most of the day, couldnt be at home as i know i would end up caving in! xxx

    I'm a photographer with a studio in the north west. I also do graphic design so keep very busy. I love being busy, staves off picking at crap food.

    I know! but i do think thats probably just water loss, not real fat! just cant wait to see the 13's again! 14st 8 looks so much better than 14st13!

    getting really into this black tea! 3rd cup such an easy way to increase water intake.

    oh id love to do an interested job like that! i used to be very arty farty but now dont get the time, however i have just brought a welsh dresser to restore! thats about as far i go these days! crazy! haha. xx
