    The First Diary of Trudy C age 40 something!

    I thought I would start a diary on this site as I have found Minimins to be invaluable on my Dukan journey and when I try and look back at my posts/weight loss from the last 5 months I am having to look all over the place so from now on I will put it in here and I am sure over time it will be something positive to look back on!!! With all the good, the bad and the ugly!!!

    PP DAY TODAY
    B - 2 muffins
    L - steak and strawberry mousse
    D- steak/chicken/ soy/ginger/2 muffins
    Flippin freezing today and no matter what I wore my feet and hands froze!!! Drank my weight in tea and coffee to try and keep warm.....Thats a lot of fluid!!! Dr Dukan would be pleased - well more so if it was cold!!! Really craved veggies today - might have been because there are loads of tupperware dishes full of chilli and curry in the fridge calling my name!!! ARGH! A friend concocted a Thai Soup Recipe for me to put together which I will try to make tomorrow for my PP weekend - really need to get a grip with new PP recipes cos I struggle on PP days - need to trawl the recipe thread. Just been to see our Kids Theatre Group do their annual show which was great fun - they were soooo funny...... tired now though so time for bed! Nite all!

    The Thai soup sounds like it should be tasty, put the recipe up if it's good - I'm so fed up of vegetable soup but it's a nice cheap lunch. Hope you get warmer soon. Freezing here too, I'm wearing so many layers my coat only just does up. And all this week my three year old has cried every time I try to cuddle her as my hands are so cold!

    Will do - need to get a few ingredients in town today to make it !!! Realised this morning that I had run out of muller light and vanilla essence for my muffins so used greek yoghurt and an OLD vanilla pod that had been lurking in the cupboard for ages and then decided to go all out with some sugar free strawberry flavour - smells like a sweet shop in my house this morning!!! The muffins taste yum!!!
    Minus 8 here today and even mucking out hasn't warmed me up! Gonna be an ice block by the time the horses are done! Then off to town to pick up the lorry, get some shopping then pick up Ben before battening down the hatches and turning the heat up full blast!!!!
    Will do the after pic today or tomorrow then post them!!! TBH I am a bit scared to look at what I look like now if that makes sense!!!!

    Defo a plan Vixx - I realised that often I want to look back on my Dukan journey but it is dotted all over the place so hard to do!!! Not even sure of my weight loss pattern which would be interesting to see in it's entirety!!!! Look at your stats they are inspiring - over half way and going great guns by the look of it!
    Anyway I digress
    PV day and thanks to being greedy and cold I have eaten myself out of house and home and now feel thoroughly fat!!!!
    B - 2 muffins - 1 strawberry and vanilla (yum, yum double yum)/ 1 almond and orange(just yum!)
    L - BNS and Chicken curry with green beans
    D - Prawns with soy and ginger/turkey chilli and Roasted BNS/ 2 muffins - my very own three course dinner!!!
    See there you are the entire house was eaten!!! Day didn't quite go to plan and ended up running out of time to get all my jobs done so no ingredients to make the thai soup but will get them in the morning when I eventually get to town!!! A friend just arrived from France so I had better go and be sociable !!!! LOL!!! Photo day tomorrow!!
