    hello!

    having tried lipotrim earlier this year and massively falling off the wagon for a variety of reasons and then of course trying to lose weight but never really being in the game mentally.....I'm giving Slim & Save a proper pre-Xmas go...mainly because I have literally just booked flights for an Xmas holiday...but also to give me the kick up my rather large touché to slim down for my wedding in August 2014!

    Fingers crossed I keep the resolve in the same way many of you have done and achieved so much xx

    I too have booked a holiday for tennerife in jan then in feb I've booked for disneyland Paris. At the moment even the thought of the rides on Disney gives me the fear. Also I want to be comfortable during the flights and not to be spilling out my seat.
    Slim and save is great. So much variety. I'm sure you will do fab .

    LT sent me a bit nuts on just 3 shakes a day....the lack of variety was insane for me as well the lack of energy and wanting to gnaw my own arms off when cooking for others haha! Needless to say I gained all the weight I lost on there back on...so here I am on day 3 of my new resolve....WE CAN DO THIS! Xx

    The variety is awesome....so exciting after the horrid life that is lipotrim ;o(

    OMG I totally understand the plane seat fear....squished into an already uncomfortable seat is no fun for me and I can't afford the flight upgrades! Haha!

    Im so jealous you're off to Disney Land....I love rides...I have been to the one in Orlando 3 times and loved it....been trying to go back ever since...I'm such a child lol xx

    Think I'm gonna dig out my Leslie Sansone DVDs tomorrow and start walking indoors again like a nutter....working from home all the time really does make me even more lazy...never knew it was possible but it is....I live next door to gym for goodness sake...but alas the work day is sooo busy I barely get brekkie or a wash till lunchtime....much less leave the house.....tramp I know lol.

    but now the days are getting darker I may just walk round my bedroom or living room for bit to the cheesy instructor and maybe throw in some weights to work on my bingo wings and back fat....decisions decisions!

    Yeah I was the same after cambridge. Spacing those 3 packs a day out was akin to torture.
    The final straw for me was my flight in August when after literally shoe horning myself into my seat the flight table was like a ski slope. So enough was enough.
    I've never been to Orlando. Would love to go. I'm looking forward to Paris tho. The thought of the turnstiles and squeezing into the rides is giving me the fear so should keep me motivated.
    Lost 11 so far in 2 weeks but not finding it that difficult. The psychological cravings can be awful tho at times even tho I'm not at all hungry x

    So it wasn't just me who didn't 3 packs a day enough then?! Thank god....I mean I was holding out to have my first on at 1pm and luckily I was laid up with a bad ankle so slept ALOT...still didn't help beat the hungerous torture! I was horrid to be around too....never again!

    I thoroughly recommend Orlando, and if going with kids, wait till they're at least 8yrs upwards as its exhausting getting round those parks and they can go on so many more rides...when they're younger they always looked miserable after an hour or so and the parents were always frustrated due to spending a lot of money to take there....the parks are ridiculously huge and you need structure and early starts for it...awesome fun...but knackering beyond belief! I need to e slimmer and fitter before I do that again lol.

    ahhh yes...the evil tray table....depresses the life out of me...my belly and thighs push it up to my massive boobs and nothing stays on...never mind the seat arms being pushed up by my thunder thighs haha! We will beat the evil aeroplane seats I promise you...;o)

    11lbs is brilliant! I hope I score well on my first weigh in....nearly a stone in 2 weeks must feel so amazing!

    I'm finding it easy so far...just had my first ever bar with a glass of milk....yummy! I mean I already was full but still needed to get my final pack in for day and couldn't face a shake...but chocolate went down a treat!

    why am I so excited about a diet and not feeling depraved? This madness...but great ;o)

    My reasons to stick to this (this time)....what with all the spare time I seem to have not cooking and stuffing my face now, I've had plenty of time to let my mind wander and just want to jot these down for my support and will power should I feel the urge to derail myself...and hopefully some giggles along the way

    Here goes...."My Reasons for Losing Weight & Stay Focused"


    1. Most important - to not be out of breath after every activity (already feeling the benefits)
    2. To being able to cut/paint my toenails with ease...and not be suffocating on the fat rolls in between
    3. Being able to look down and see my pubic hairs... Although this won't become a new past-time of mine it will be an indication that I no longer have a belly like I'm pregnant when I'm not?
    4. To be able to go in a clothes shop and not automatically head for the 'larger department' with the 'tent like structures they call clothes' and ditch some of my leggings & baggy tops!
    5. To be happy seeing photos of myself - should anyone desire to take any of me!
    6. For my future husband to be able to pick up me without needing medical care afterwards
    7. To look at myself in the mirror and be happy with what looks back at me - at the moment this alien person I don't recognise is wearing MY clothes and I'm not convinced its me!
    8. To have the possibility of feeling sexy again - should the need arise, it's not first on my list!
    9. To wear a bikini - even if only around my flat and for myself!
    10. To be able to sit comfortably on aeroplane seats with the seatbelt still having plenty of length left & have the armrests not be pushed up by my thunder thighs (rather than getting wedged and complaining that all average sized plane seats have conspired against me)
    11. To go into a changing room holding size 12-14 clothes on hangers...
    12. The possibility of running for a bus and not needing major resuscitation!
    13. To not feel so self conscious and believe that people staring at my wobbly legs and large bum when I waddle past
    14. People not staring at my large boobs (mind you I've always had the boobage but it would be nice to not to feel like I'm strapping down floating devices that won't stay down!)
    15. To be able to explore the normality that is the pool or beachside without being wrapped in swathes of sarongs & cover ups whilst pretending not to sweat profusely.
    16. Not putting the weight back on by treating myself to food treats...it doesn't work!
    17. Being able to cross my legs when I'm sitting (rather than attempting to do so and feeling like someone has purposely put a large inflatable between your legs!)
    18. Laying down flat without my body parts spreading further than they really should - mostly belly and boobage again here!
    19. Not having the dreaded thigh rub whenever I'm even the slightest bit warm
    20. Not worrying about getting older and needing a chair lift, new knees, hips, lyposuction, hoists, eight men to lift me onto a stretcher (should the need arise)
    21. To look attractive and have my OH feel proud to have a hot chick on his arm - even if it is in my head only!
    22. Fit into a beautiful size 10-12 wedding gown for our big day!
    23. To be fit and healthy for future baby making!
    24. Fit into a pair of regular jeans for the first time in about 18years!


    Sooooo......there's my list...I'm sure it'll be added to/tweaked etc...but for now...these are my random thoughts to keep me on the road to success

    Oh I can totally relate to most of your reasons. I like not only to be able to look down and see my bikini line, I'd actually like to start getting it waxed again professionally.
    Can totally related to the toe nails. Last time i painted mine it was such an effort i nearly needed resuscitated.
    I'd also like knee length boots to zip up.

    Awww thanks Marie! Totally agree..... I can't even remember the last time I had my bikini line waxed....too embarrassed to show anyone the rolls of fat and the huge thighs! As for the toenails....that really drives me mad so I either leave them and they look rubbish or I get them done professionally which I begrudge the cost of regularly as its something I should be able to do surely hahaha xx

    Me either. No confidence to get waxed. I'd think they'd be thinking "why bother" as they were doing it. I actually tried to get my OH to paint my toe nails before my hol this year. He was having none of it so did it myself. Took me about an hour. Was out of puff and they were ridiculously bad x

    Its hard enough having the confidence to go somewhere to let another woman see the bits of your body that aren't normally on display! Kudos on trying to get your OH to paint your nails...I'd get the same response if I asked mine....I only do them for hols or special occasions when I know they'll be showing...don't enjoy choking myself for an hour....I'm gonna treat myself to a pedicure done by me when I lose my first stone....not that anyone will see them with winter looming haha1

    Just found some size 18 smart black trousers I bought years ago that still have the tags on.....they currently have no chance of getting over these thighs right now....maybe in a month's time when its really cold for work?

    I also have a winter coat I bought in the sales this year that's a Karen Millen size 16 that I am desperate to wear....lets hope the full on winter doesn't come till I've shifted at least a couple of stone oor I will be freezing to death coz I simply refuse to wear my fat coat again!

    The toenails are definitely an ordeal to do. I have a uv lamp and shellac polish but it's such an ordeal I don't bother. Actually makes me breathless, which is shocking!
    Oh a Karen Millen coat. Now that's a good motivator. Bet its gorgeous. Her stuffs on the small side too. Youl be in it in no time.
    I'm still a 2o. Can't wait to break into the 18s. Oh to be able to shop in a normal shop. As well as to buy something I like, rather than what fits x

    You'll be out of them 20's in no time too.....you watch and smile when it happens in a couple of weeks!

    I have no idea what size I am as I have been living in leggings and roomy tops that seem to only say XL on the sizes.....oh and hiding in size 18 maxi dresses all summer as they are more forgiving....I doubt I am size 18 though as those trousers and everything else I have that's a size 18 either don't fit at all or are a bit snug! The Karen Millen coat has been a dream of mine since I saw it....its a shop I never venture into coz as you say, the sizings are tiny!!! But I simply must wear this coat this winter or I will cry!!! My current coat has holes in the lining and I struggle to get it done up without looking like an overly stuffed sausage in badly fitting clothes and that's a size 18!!!

    Oh to have that feeling of picking something pretty up and actually taking it home coz it actually fits and not just a cover up....I remember those days...vaguely!

    I'm avoiding going shopping for now as I have plenty of clothes in varying sizes (12-22) that are in good nick that would make me so happy to get into! Surely that's a shop's range of sizes and clothes isn't it? haha
