I live close to the US border. I don't go every week to the US to buy my food lol.

We do a shop there about once a month, mainly to stock up on foods you can't get in Canada and to pop to places like Trader Joes and Whole Foods which I love.

I'm so jealous Trader Joes and Wholefoods are my idea of heaven. Lol. Also jealous of your low syn chocolate pretzels.

Sometimes I miss the states (not that I've ever been there for long stretches).

    White cabbage
    Spring onions
    Sweetcorn

    4 cartons passata
    NAS squash

    1 loaf bread
Net of 20g cathedral cheddar cheese (on offer £1!) thought this would be great for HEA portion
    12 muller lights
    2 fat free natural yoghurt

and with this little lot I plan to make:

    *Beef Stroganoff- 4 portions

    I love this thread!!!
    Here's my shop from today:

    Fruit:
    Apples
    Bananas (more for the kids)
    Grapes
    Blueberries
    Kiwis

    Veg:
    Maris piper spuds
    Carrots
Easy swede (as I hate chopping swede)
    Courgettes
    Onions (red and White)
    Tomatoes
    Cucumber
    Peppers
    Frozen broccoli
    Tenderstem broccoli
Family pack of stir fry veg

    Meat
    Huuuge piece of gammon
    Chicken
    Quorn mince
    Healthy living mince
    Quorn bacon
    Bacon

    Store cupboard:
    Passata
    Worcester sauce
    Soy sauce
    Baked beans

    Dairy:
    Muller lights
    Quark
    Fromage frais
    Extra light laughing cow
    Eggs
    Onion and chive cottage cheese
    Milk

    Drinks:
    Coke zero
    Sugar free squash

I also bought other stuff that I won't have (crisps, biccies, bread, cheese)
I keep a wholemeal loaf in the freezer and if I reaaaaaaally need a slice of toast I whack a bit in the toaster straight from the freezer but I try not to. Also (luckily) DH and the kids like mild cheese whereas I like really strong cheddar so their rubber junk doesn't tempt me!

This week I am planning on cooking:

    Cottage pie
    Spag bol
    Chicken curry
SW quiche with broccoli and bacon
Gammon and swede (me) gammon and SW chips (everyone else)
SW quiche with herbs, tuna and baked beans (beans in the mixture)
Stir fry veg with gammon (cold for lunch at work)
Started Exante TS 15th Feb - lost 1.5 stone in 4 weeks and have kept it off!

Just a few more pounds to go until my weight is where I want it!

    Fitbit Fanatic!

I did a top up shop today of some veggies etc I needed and totally forgot to photograph.

Will try to remember for my next shop. Although I don't really need much for a while now, apart from top up's of fruit/veg.
